is seeking
applicants for the next class of Partners in Policymaking (PIP), to
begin September, 2017. This program is
ideal for people with developmental disabilities and parents of
children with developmental disabilities. Participants will build their
advocacy and leadership skills by hearing from state and national
experts on how to impact local and state policies. Learning
how to build positive partnerships between families and community
leaders (to include schools, employers and elected officials) will help
shape inclusive communities and quality education. Graduates of the PIP
program will have the skills to improve the lives
of those with disabilities and build stronger communities for everyone
at the local and state levels.
