The Food Service Department and local volunteers continue to provide meals to our school community. The times and locations are as follows:

Westmoreland Shores: 903 Holly Vista Dr at 8:30 for Breakfast and 11 for Lunch

Riverwood Apartments 8:30 for Breakfast and 11 for Lunch

Meadows: Stratford St & Dogwood Ave at 8:30 for Breakfast and 11 for Lunch

Parents may continue ordering meals for pick up at the front of CBHS at 8:30 and 11:00.

Today we served over 150 meals for breakfast and almost 300 meals for lunch.

Over time, we have seen an increase in the number of meals served and a decrease in the number of meals ordered. Please contact the school division Food Service Department at with your meal order. Please send your email with the number of meals needed by 6:00 am. Ordering via email helps with food preparation and it minimizes the amount of food that may be wasted.

School Community,

As a result of COVA-19, Governor Northam has closed schools for the next two weeks. During this time, Colonial Beach Public Schools will be providing meals to our school community. To facilitate our meal program during this closure, we are asking parents, or students to email us at Monday-Friday by 6:00 a.m. informing us of the number of meals needed for breakfast and lunch. The meals will be available for pick up at the front entrance of Colonial Beach High School. Breakfast will be ready at 8:30, and it will end at 9:30. Lunch will be available at 11:00 and operate until 1:00.  Requirements of this State and Federal program encourage schools to focus on the feeding of students.
We will also have delivery to 343 12th Street and 368 Riverwood Drive. If you or your older child(ren) will be picking up meals, you are still expected to email to make the request. Meals will be available for pick up 8:30- 9:30 and 11:00-12:00. Please ensure that an older adult or sibling is with students Pk-5 at the listed stops. This request is for safety concerns.
Again, parents and students are asked to email the school division at with the number of meals that are needed. Please do not email requesting meals that you are not going to pick up. As we are offering this program, we must meet federal and state guidelines while providing this service to the school community.
If the need for this meal service expands, we will make the necessary adjustments to support our school community.--
