Our Vision
School Division Literacy Vision:
Colonial Beach Public Schools will create positive and equitable literacy experiences for
students, in partnership with families, to develop the necessary skills in reading, writing,
listening, and speaking across multiple disciplines. Students will be provided rigorous
instruction rooted in science-based reading principles with opportunities to engage with
high-quality text and digital media to thrive in an ever-changing global society.
